Once a neurosurgical operation has been offered as a part of your treatment you will be provided with a quote setting out the surgeon's fees. This will provide the OPCS codes used to describe the neurosurgical procedure. Pease note that hospital fees are levied by the facility separately and an estimate of costs will be provided by the hospital. Other specialists who give input into your care will invoice for their services separately e.g. anaesthetists. They too are required to provide you with an estimate of costs on advance for self-funding patients.
